Who are we 4 years later? (Last Updated 18/08/2010)

It seems ages ago but in 2005 we made a decision to move forward and in 2006 we moved a few steps backwards from our previous building into the Sure Start Centre - we like to think we are a more go ahead church. Why? Well we have embarked on a visionary Building Bridges Project and as a result we are encouraging, supporting and participating in new ideas and opportunities.

It ain't easy and of course we don't get it right all the time and there are sometimes occasions when we have to make decisions that still give us lump in our throat, but hey, it has to be better than being in a building which had at best lots of space but at worst was expensive to run!

New ideas need new people to get involved and although some things don't always get the support they need we just try again, that little bit better and hopefully we get results.

We will keep trying all sorts of new ideas and we are sure they will bring us all closer together so that we can all share our skills to the advantage of everyone.

It ain't going to be easy, but what the heck, if we don't try we will never know!

If you wanna give us a try, feel free to come to our Saturday Morning Cafe from 10:00am to 11:30am.(CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO REFURBISHMENT OF THE KITCHEN AREA) It doesn't hurt, it may be a tad noisy, but that is because those who join us have lots to talk about or are just plain noisy!

There is no set charge for what is available, you pay what "you" feel is adequate and if you can't no one is going to come running after you.

We want you to come and enjoy a weekly Community event in the hope that you will feel that when you are at loose end you can come back and see us again.

We normally have tea, coffee (made with milk or without), toast, teacakes and sometimes other specials and giveaways.
