What on Earth is a Church after all?
 
A church is a group of believers in Jesus Christ, associated together, under Christ, for His purposes.
 
It is not a "building", in fact I suppose a church could be anywhere, on a pavement, in a park, on a hill, in a tree, on a bench, on a train or bus or plane. There is nothing "fixed" about a church and it would be much easier to run and we could spend money in all the right places instead of wasting it on bricks and mortar.
 
Of course it is nice to have somewhere warm and cosy to meet, but as we read in our Bibles there was nothing warm and cosy about the Christian way of life during biblical times, in fact it was harsh, miserable and punishing.
 
People are the "church" and the way they put their beliefs into action lays out their Vision and sets out the standard for their future.
